Elise J. Zahn, D.O., FACOEP, has been named Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Columbia Hospital. She completed her medical education at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at St. John Oakland Hospital in Detroit, MI. She is board certified in the specialty of Emergency Medicine and is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians. In addition, she is an Associate Professor in Emergency Medicine at Nova Southeastern University.
